Major interests
- Gastrotricha taxonomy, systematics and phylogeny
- Phylogeography and dispersion roads of Gastrotricha.
- Integrative taxonomy in light of the problems with the differentiation of cryptic and pseudocryptic species and complex of species similar in morphology.
- Palm houses and greenhouses as a invertebrate fauna biodiversity 'hot-spots' and places to natice and alien species interpenetration.
